Justin became our Senior Pastor in October 2023. He is passionate about teaching God's Word and leading people to grow deeper in a personal relationship with Jesus. Justin first came to our church in February 2019 as Minister to Students, College and Young Professionals and took over the Children's Ministry in January 2022. He and his wife, Candace, grew up in Randolph County. After they married in 2007, he attended Southeastern Seminary to receive his MDiv in Advanced Biblical Studies. Upon graduating, Justin and his wife moved to Concord, NC, where he served at Minister to Families for 8 years before God called him back to Randolph County to serve at Cross Road. He enjoys spending his downtime on the disc golf course and being involved in his daughters's many activities. He, Candace, and their two daughters, Alaythia and Amelia, are excited to continue their ministry at Cross Road and see what God has for them and the church!
In December 2024, Roger embraced the role of Pastor of Outreach and Discipleship, driven by a heartfelt passion for equipping God’s people to serve and fully apply their spiritual gifts. His love for teaching the Word of God is matched only by the joy he feels when believers step into meaningful Christian service—both within the church and out in their communities. Roger and his wife Julie began their journey with Cross Road Baptist Church in 2000, alongside their daughter Allison. Two years later, their family grew with the arrival of their second daughter, Rachel. After faithfully serving the church for eight years, Roger felt an undeniable calling to ministry, a path that led them to pastor two churches since 2008 and extend their outreach through motorsports ministry. Beyond the pulpit, Roger finds joy in life’s simple pleasures—traveling, hiking, pet-sitting, and sharing his love for food through two vibrant blogs on social media. He also loves watching his wife and daughters operate within their gifts in their ministry to others. His journey is a testament to the power of faith, family, and a life lived in wholehearted service to God and others.
Andrew became our Next Gen Pastor in September 2024. He seeks to reach young people with the Gospel, develop their relationships with Jesus, and walk beside them as the hands and feet of Jesus to the lost. Andrew has twelve years of ministry experience alongside his wife, Jessye, since they graduated with their undergraduate degrees from Clearwater Christian College. Over the course of ministry, Andrew attended Piedmont International Unniversity to receive his Master in Church Ministry and Liberty University for his MDiv in Pastoral Counseling. He enjoys spending his downtime hunting and knife making. He, Jessye and their two sons, James and Hudson are grateful and excited to be a part of the Cross Road church family!
Danielle has served as our Worship Director since October 2023 and held the position as an interim starting in August 2022. She grew up in a loving pastor’s home in Seagrove, NC. Her love of serving the local church and community came about by watching her parents faithfully serve for over 40 years. She loves leading worship on Sundays, at revivals, conferences, and serving in children’s ministry. Danielle attended Liberty University and studied worship and church ministry. She has been married to her husband, Matthew, for almost 22 years. They have three children, Josiah, Joselyn, and Justus.
