Community
Cross Road Baptist Church seeks to have a positive impact in our local community. We have a heritage of attempting to provide quality ministry to Asheboro and Randolph County, involvement in community events, and seek to be continually active in addressing community issues. We feel a responsibility to not only share the Gospel of Christ to our community but also be a good community neighbor.
Missions
A missions team on the field every 60 days! CRBC seeks to be on mission with God in reaching the world with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. It is our desire to live out the challenge of the Great Commission and be Christ's witnesses to the ends of the earth. Our Missions Ministry encourages and equips CRBC members to minister in a local, state, national and international context. Evangelistic events, special ministry projects, missions educational training, missions offerings, and mission trips are scheduled throughout the year to provide opportunities.
CRBC supports missionaries in the US and around the world through the North American Mission Board and the International Mission Board of the Southern Baptist Convention. We also support additional missionaries and missionary organizations as the Lord leads us. Several missionaries receiving regular support are Dr. Vararuchi Dalavai of BCM International, Rev. Mario Gana of the Philippines, Bobby Hall, Home Missionary in West Virginia, and AWANA International.
In addition, CRBC supports local and state missions by cooperating with the Baptist State Convention of NC and the Randolph Baptist Association. Missions giving has always been a vital part of CRBC. Those who attend our Church are continually challenged to give through such offerings as the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering for International Missions, the Annie Armstrong Offering for Home Missions and numerous other special missions offerings received yearly.
