Awana Program - Wednesday from 6:00 - 8:00 PM.

Come and check out our AWANA program. Complete from 3 years old through 6th grade, we have something exciting for every child. Join us at 5:45 for a delicious dinner and then get ready to have a great time at 6:00 pm with music! Every month we have a fun theme night to dress crazy and play silly games. Check the calendar to see what's next . Sparks and T & T will enjoy our high-energy game time and then settle down for a bible story and to memorize God's Word. AWANA headquarters has developed new curriculum for 3-6 graders designed to capture their attention and challenge their minds. This year the Sparks program (ages K-2) is adding a new "flight theme" sure to help the children to soar to learning and exciting programs. Come join us and enter the "Start Zone" to get a glimpse of what awaits you. Meet a new cast of characters and their dog "Streamwood" that will take you on the Ultimate Adventure!

Children's Church - CRBC offers Children's Church for children ages 4-6 where God's Word is taught in a relevant way so every child can understand. These worship experiences are led by equipped adult volunteers who utilize Bible stories, videos, music, puppets, and other resources to provide an energetic atmosphere for learning. Children's Church is available on Sundays at both the 8:30 and 11:00 am worship. For more information call Laura Gillispie at the church office or email [email protected]
CR Kids Children's Choir - Each child (grades 1-6) is invited to participate in choir. The children sing in worship services periodically, and present mini-musicals at special times during the year. Christmas is always a big event for the Children's Choir as they share music and drama complete with costumes, lights and sound.
Day Camps - Each Summer children enjoy some exciting children's events such a day camps. Children may visit a museum, go swimming, attend a children’s movie or have a fun and craft day held right here on the Cross Road campus. Vacation Bible School - No other week on our calendar produces more energy than the week of VBS! Kids have a blast as they travel from station to station with their own crew and crew leader. They enjoy upbeat music, fast paced games, interactive Bible learning, missions projects and more.
RA's, GA's, and Mission Friends - This is our mid-week program for children during the summer months. Each class participates in Wednesday night classes, day trips, and mission projects.
Family Meal - During the school year during Awana sessions we provide a meal at a minimal cost for our church family and guests each Wednesday night. This allows families to eat together, enjoy fellowship with friends and still make it to church on time.... with less stress!

Nursery

Cross Road's Nursery Department cares for babies through 3-years old during all three worship services. Our spacious nursery area is located just down the hall from the Sanctuary so Mom feels at ease knowing her little one is nearby. We use a vibrating beeper system so that you can be contacted if needed during the service or Sunday School. The overall purpose Cross Road's Nursery department is to help each child:

Feel comfortable, happy, loved, and secure while he or she is away from Mommy and Daddy
Know that Jesus loves him/her and that church is a very special place
Begin to associate God with feelings of love and happiness
Think of the Bible as a special book
